Anywhere Broker dealer client is seeking an experienced Contracts and Legal Counsel to join their legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, review, and manage a variety of contracts, including corporate agreements, commercial contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Maintain, structure, update, and manage contract templates.
- Provide advice and counsel on structuring, drafting, negotiating, and interpreting contracts and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Offer risk-based and business-minded legal advice to clients across various subject matters and issues.
- Provide day-to-day legal advice and counsel to business teams on a variety of matters.
- Work directly with business clients to develop an in-depth understanding of business unit activities and products.
- Support transactional and corporate aspects of the firm’s broker-dealer, investment advisory, and futures commission merchant activities.
- Play a role in ensuring the company’s compliance with U.S. laws.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in contract law, corporate law, or a related field.
Base Salary – $180,000-$220,000 depending on experience
