The Facilities Director will manage and maintain the grounds and facilities for the Retreat at Norwich Lake in Huntington, MA while answering directly to the Site Director.
Responsibilities
Work flexible hours depending on time of year
Respond to emergencies after hours when needed
Manage routine maintenance and repairs of all buildings and equipment
Ensure camp is maintained to a standard that is showable to guests at all times, with particular emphasis on:
Buildings – maintenance and some cleaning
Caring for lawns/fields: mowing, seeding, fertilizing
Painting and staining
Gardening and landscaping
Paths
Water lines and basic plumbing
Snow removal, safety, and plowing
Drainage
Working with contractors on special projects/repairs
Building and improvement projects such as fencing, refinishing cabins, building benches, etc.
Basic maintenance on camp vehicles
Supervise local maintenance volunteers including Jail Ministry work group twice monthly.
Attend weekly staff meeting
In conjunction with Hospitality Assistant, act as primary Hospitality Manager anytime directors are away
Any other reasonable duties requested by director

Ability to perform all TCI protective interventions
Ability to navigate campus and respond quickly to emergency situations
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
