Pritchard Industries, a National Facilities Service Company, is seeking an experienced multi-site Director of Operations . This dynamic, hands-on, manager will be an additional Director Level position being added to support our evolving Houston Texas Operations, will be an integral member of the local leadership team; and will be directly responsible for leading commercial cleaning operations and ensuring that service commitments to local clients are fully met. This position is responsible for overseeing the scheduling of service, training, and performance management of staff, and in meeting all operational expectations assigned by the Vice President and General Manager of the region.
In alignment with the Vice President and supporting that geography you will ensure compliance with the various accreditation, standards, and regulatory requirements, as well as Pritchard-mandated and customer service standards. The position involves working with operations support staff utilizing professional competence in areas relating to financial management, people management, account development, and account operations. Supports the implementation of new unit openings, including the development and administration of training plans. The position will also support the sales process by assisting with operations and costing analyses, and by providing technical support in the development of service proposals. In addition, the position will oversee inspections, quality control measures, and the inventory control of equipment and supplies for all facilities across the region.
This position requires both an office and a field presence. Quality cannot be managed from a desk. Experience managing direct reports is a required skill. This position has two – three full time Area Managers to support the extensive list of responsibilities.
This is not a 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM office job and will involve required time on nights and weekends. This position will require a commitment to day and nighttime activities as well as occasional weekends. This position will report to the Vice President and General Manager of the region.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure the development of long-term strategy as well as sound annual business plans to develop growth.
Oversee daily operations, budgets, and team personnel.
Manage corporation expenses relating to cleaning services including delivery costs, labor costs, supplies, etc.
Meet regularly with clients to ensure their satisfaction with current contract services and to identify their changing needs and requirements.
Review service delivery and staffing reports to ensure identification of service and/or contract issues.
Analyze processes and practices in-light of customer needs and service expectation.
Understand all customer contract commitments and schedule services accordingly.
Allocate resources appropriate for customer sites, while maintaining appropriate inventories of supplies.
Meet regularly with Operations and Sales staff and in addition to customers to monitor service delivery performance, identifying any deficiencies in delivery.
Oversee the recruitment of cleaning staff, the training orientation of new staff and the continual development of new staff.

Qualifications: 5-7 years progressive experience in multi-site commercial custodial operations.
Bilingual is required
Multi-site Commercial Janitorial Operations experience a MUST!
A thorough working knowledge of the cleaning industry also a MUST!
Residential, Hotel or single site experienced persons need not apply.
Strong communication skills both verbally and written ability to communicate effectively with building owners, senior management staff, clients, vendors, and staff.
Effective problem solving, leadership, organizational and planning skills.
Strong business development experience, skills, and ideas.
