Director, Product Merchandising (PLM), Women’s Premium Footwear

Responsible for supporting and driving the women’s footwear category to achieve and exceed company revenue and category performance objectives with direction from the Vice President, Women’s Footwear, Product Merchandising.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Create Line Plan inclusive of the seasonal product strategy by tier and zone, that aligns with the company mission and brands direction
Analyze selling reports provided by business channels for new and existing collections, styles, skus/colors for in-season selling performance; Communicate findings in a visual/analytic manner
Complete understanding of the product market and how Cole Haan fills her closet with unique product offering from all zones
Ability to identify white space and brief product to fill while stealing market share from other brands
Generate ad hoc reports for past season performance or forecast reports for upcoming seasons to inform line planning and product life cycle management
Partner with manager to create compelling, balanced collections across categories ensuring the support global brand direction
Establish target pricing and partner with production and costing team, tech design and design to achieve product category IMU targets
Have a voice in proto review and line reviews
Manage line via PLM system, update accurately, and share cross functionally
Drive the creation of document/tools for adoption and global sales meeting to then present to global teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ensure all data integrity, from line plan kick off through sales meeting is accurate and current in PLM system in partnership for design, product development and costing teams
Maintain and track changes to merchandise assortments by season; communicate changes to all cross-functional team members (design, PD, costing, channels)
Provide assortment information to global marketing teams and partner with cross functional team to ensure product being handed-off for campaign shoots and digital assets is correct
Lead MOQ calls ensuring key initiatives are being met
Identify opportunities to streamline and create efficiencies
Knowledge of competition and trends, identifying new opportunities appropriate Cole Haan
Merchandising experience a must

Act as the point of contact for product-related questions for business channels

Bachelor’s Degree
6+ years previous related experience in Merchandising or Product Management in Women’s Dress, casual/sport lifestyle footwear
Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, & PLM
Previous experience in SAP and MIRO
Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
Able to work proactively & independently

Base Salary/Hourly Range: From $170,000 – 190,000 annually* + bonus potential

Bonus Eligibility: Yes, eligible for annual target bonus based on company and individual performance
