About the Role

The Company is seeking a Regulatory Officer, Vice President to join their team. The successful candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert within the Regulatory Change Management Group, with a focus on the applicability of new or revised regulatory requirements. This role involves close collaboration with various departments across the organization to ensure the timely and effective implementation of regulatory changes. The Regulatory Officer will be responsible for tasks such as applicability analysis, impact assessment, action plan tracking, and maintaining policies and procedures. Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities.

Applicants for the Regulatory Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a preference for a graduate business degree or J.D. Former regulators, compliance officers, or legal professionals with established industry and regulatory relationships are encouraged to apply. The role requires a comprehensive knowledge of the regulatory environment, particularly federal and state banking laws and regulations. Experience in financial services, particularly within banking or with a foreign banking institution, and a proven track record in regulatory compliance, governance, or a related field are also necessary. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a team player, and have the ability to lead and program manage end-to-end regulatory change initiatives.
