About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Portfolio Management in the Portfolio Solutions Group. This role is pivotal in supporting underwriting strategies and P&L outcomes, with a focus on establishing relationships with various customer segments and offering tailored risk solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for devising underwriting strategies, supporting distribution management, and overseeing program management activities. This includes establishing client service standards, and documentation requirements, and conducting regular portfolio analysis to ensure profit objectives are met. The role also involves engaging with legal, IT, claims, and other support services to maintain a robust operating platform and embody the company’s values of collaboration, resilience, and discipline.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in program management, with a strong background in underwriting and portfolio management. Experience in property and professional lines, as well as casualty, is essential. The role requires excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong analytic skills in finance, actuarial concepts, and data are also necessary. The candidate should be a self-starter, comfortable with a hands-on approach, and committed to upholding the company’s values in all interactions.
