About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its “Friends Forever” program, which is dedicated to providing a supportive community and programming for individuals aged 22 and above with intellectual disabilities. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, responsible for developing and leading the program, engaging a program development team, and ensuring that the program aligns with the overall strategic plan of the organization. This role involves programmatic leadership, including ongoing development, design, and innovation, as well as the establishment of quality standards and monitoring of program outcomes. The Managing Director will also be tasked with internal and external team collaboration, recruiting and leading a program staff, and serving as the external face of the program, engaging with alumni, families, and community partners.
Applicants for the Managing Director position should be mission-driven, entrepreneurial, and possess strong business acumen. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in program design, development, and implementation for adults with intellectual disabilities, and experience in leading new, innovative program strategies.
