If this resonates with you, we welcome your application.Position Summary:Were immediately searching for an exceptional Senior Business Development Executive to lead sales and account management activities throughout our Pacific Northwest market territories. Were looking for the following traits:YOU have grit the word no doesnt exist to you youre the one who wins when everyone else doesnt.YOU will be responsible for developing a complete end-to-end strategy for broader business development within our company, including lead generation, new business-to-business account development, and ongoing account management. Eventually, as youve built out your territory, the opportunity to build a team of Account Managers and SDRs will exist.YOU will be an experienced hybrid Hunter/Farmer with a passion for exceptional customer experiences. The right individual will be able to communicate the precise differences between hunting and farming and will enjoy the thrill of the hunt.YOU will have experience in selling larger, complex IT, Consulting and/or Staffing solutions, where its essential to collaborate across multiple stakeholders to establish the initial client relationship, and furthermore, proliferate throughout various parallel organizations within said client.YOU will be responsible for deal execution, which includes driving deals to closure while maintaining a willingness to walk away from transactions that do not meet the business objectives or represent a potential and unacceptable risk.Position Responsibilities:Lead Generation and Prospecting : Contribute to lead generation efforts by leveraging industry expertise, networking, and market analysis. Cultivate and manage a dynamic pool of prospective clients through proactive outreach and relationship cultivation, with a focus on cold outreach using phone, email, social media, and face-to-face networking.Qualifying Leads : Interact with potential clients to grasp their needs, challenges, and criteria. Evaluate their suitability for Verticalmove services and solutions.Sales Savvy : Develop persuasive sales pitches and presentations customized to highlight Verticalmove solutions and services as the optimal choice for potential clients. Work closely with the marketing team to maintain uniformity in messaging and branding throughout all sales collateral.New Business Development : Foster and sustain robust connections with key decision-makers and influencers. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor movements to spot potential business prospects and challenges.Sales Pipeline Management : Ensure precise and current documentation of all sales endeavors and engagements with targeted enterprise clients are made within our CRMs solutions.Market Expansion Strategies : Assess potential opportunities for market expansion and devise plans to enter new geographic areas or industry sectors. Work alongside cross-functional teams to customize and refine offerings to cater to the distinct requirements of varied client demographics.Continuous Learning : Remain informed about updates and new features from collaboration partners, actively engaging in training sessions to deepen product knowledge.Ultimate Outcomes : Achieve the successful origination, closure, and expansion of new clientele while surpassing the expectations of the clients by delivering significant value.Position Requirements:5+ years of direct sales in IT solutions and services.Prior experience in the IT Consulting, Staffing, or Headhunting industry is preferred, though NOT required. We would be open to backgrounds coming from SaaS/PaaS or other technology environments depending on their level of polish.Experience in selling professional and consulting services to clients including C-level executives.New business development and existing account management experience (land and expand accounts).Exceptional oral and written communication skills, specifically having a strong executive presence as this position will likely interface frequently with CEx-level constituents.Strong interpersonal traits such as self-motivation, creativity, adaptability, unquestionable ethics & integrity, and a willingness to take calculated risks. Bonus points for clearly articulating your passion for a career versus a job.Willingness to obtain and retain (learn) technical knowledge that will differentiate you as a subject matter expert and allow you to rise above the noise throughout our industry.Misc Aspects of the Position:Benefits : 100% Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance. 401k Match. 6 Weeks of Paid Time Off (10 Days Accrued, 10 Federal Holidays, 10 Days Between Christmas & New Years)Guaranteed Compensation : Beginning at $90,000+ annually and can grow based upon responsibility.Commission : We offer one of the most competitive variable compensation programs in our industry, which is paid as a monthly annuity (youre paid on the ongoing ARR that we receive from our engagements).Ongoing Monetization : In contrast to typical sales setups where you earn a one-time payment and then pass the customer off to the success team, our sales team enjoys ongoing monetization. Expectations for total compensation in the first year are at least $150,000, with compensation increasing each subsequent year thereafter. At Verticalmove, we compensate on an ongoing annuity basis. Any annual recurring revenue (ARR) generated from your successful transactions remains commissionable for the duration of the contract.
