Citi Treasury’s mission is to be stewards of Citi’s capital base and liquidity position by managing the firm’s Balance Sheet and Financial Resources including Capital, Liquidity, and Non-Trading Market Risk, which includes interest rate risk. Markets Business Treasury is responsible for the oversight of Markets businesses balance sheet and serves as a key point of contact into Treasury for the business. This role requires experienced commercial awareness and product knowledge (i.e., trading strategies and balance sheet fundamentals). Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and effect change across internal and external stakeholders alike. Project management and leadership skill sets required as it relates to technology and/or operational solutioning and problem solving. Ability to execute at a high level, while prioritizing multiple assignments with real world economic impacts is critical to the success of the incumbent.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Markets businesses and Treasury management to support execution of key business strategies and initiatives.
  • Assist in the buildout and development of relevant dashboards reflecting key Treasury metrics, with an emphasis on driving inclusion of metrics relevant to the Markets business to support transparency.
  • Assess and define impacts to key liquidity, interest rate risk, and capital metrics, balance sheet usage, intraday liquidity usage and daily funding requirements resulting from proposed transactions and initiatives.
  • Assists with ongoing development and implementation of process improvements to Citi’s liquidity stress testing infrastructure and assumptions, partnering with GLM, Risk, Business and Technology to ensure assumptions and methodologies reflect Markets considerations.
  • Collaborate with Legal Entity Treasury and Financial Resource Management (FRM) to understand and optimize returns across businesses and entities while ensuring businesses and entities continue to operate within key treasury risk limits.
  • Participate/assist in projects and perform ad hoc analysis and support regulatory responses as required by management and businesses.
  • Produce presentation materials for senior management for ad-hoc, regulatory and committee meeting discussions.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related fields
  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Liquidity Risk, Capital, IRRBB and Markets product knowledge a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal)
  • Willingness and ability to work across all levels of key deliverables under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Access, and ability to work with large volumes of data leveraging spreadsheets and models
  • Ability to take ownership and execute on deliverables
  • Team player with an ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

$142,320.00 – $213,480.00
