**OVERVIEW:**
We are looking for great merchandise planning leaders who thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. This roles core responsibilities are to create pricing and product assortments offered within the eCommerce platforms that maximize the revenue opportunity while properly balancing product assortment and price points. Our merchandising planning team works closely with our Merchandising, Finance, Web Operations, Line Producing and Programming to drive revenue performance while exceeding our customer expectations.
**Role Responsibilities:**
The Director, Ecommerce Merchandise Planning is responsible for helping to drive the execution of Pricing, Inventory Management and Promotional strategies within the eCommerce platforms. Key responsibilities include:
* Drive E-commerce allocation and pricing strategies across all product and assortment categories that also complement on-air programming
* Lead and provide planning expertise in preparing inventory, sales reports and in-depth analysis, creating performance recaps and lead cross-functional meetings to review performance and recommend improvements based on historical data trends
* Analyze sales and inventory trends and help create compelling pricing and product assortment recommendations for the E-commerce platforms in concert with on-air programming offerings.
* Execute re-orders for products and identify slow-moving E-commerce inventory for liquidation
* Perform duties according to company policies and procedures with latitude for independent judgment and initiative.
**Role Qualifications:**
* Bachelors degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Accounting, Finance and/or Analytics.
* Minimum 5 years in progressively responsible positions in retail /merchandising/marketing environment.
* Background in E-commerce
* Demonstrated experience in a PC/Windows environment, and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent analytical skills are required, including the ability to recognize actionable trends in data.
* Strong teamwork capabilities.
* Action and results oriented with the ability to own/make decisions to achieve desired results.
* Communicate early and clearly.
