Job Description

The VP of Development will be responsible for helping to develop and to execute business strategies to increase brand awareness and market share. The VP of Development will also support various special projects related to short-term and long-term business goals, including, but not limited to brand representation, project management for new location openings, transition strategies, M&A opportunities, etc.

Primary Responsibilities
• Serves as owner representative for new market retail opportunities
• Serves as RFP brand liaison
• Serves as liaison/operations decision-maker for new construction projects at DEN
• Hands-on retail expert charged with revamp/redesign of all retail locations at BNA
• New store location project management
• Company/owner representative for community outreach opportunities related to brand awareness, brand development, and market expansion
• Analyzes business opportunities and makes appropriate recommendations based on industry trends and market projections
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience
• 10-year TSA criminal background check
• Bachelor’s degree in business, retail, hospitality or related field
• Minimum five years’ business development or retail/hospitality experience

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Normal office environment with standard lighting and average noise levels. Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer. Regular/repetitive use of hands and fingers to operate computer components (e.g., keyboard, mouse, etc.). Must be able to travel for extended periods and on short notice. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds, bend, reach, and squat. May need to stand or walk for extended periods.

Salary Range: $175,000-$225,000

Location: Position will be based at Skyport Hospitality Corporate headquarters in Greenwood Village, CO with some workdays required at DEN airport, as well as regular travel to BNA and other airports.
