Job Description:
Arch Systems is expanding and seeking an experienced Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to lead our growth strategy across the federal/civilian government and industry sectors, including agencies such as HHS, DHS, USDA, NOAA, and IRS. The ideal candidate will possess extensive relationships within these sectors and a proven track record of leveraging those relationships to drive revenue, as well as the ability to forge new partnerships to further expand Arch’s presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the growth and business development strategy across Fed/CIV government sectors (including HHS, DHS, USDA, NOAA, IRS, and other federal agencies) and industry partners.
- Leverage existing high-level relationships with government agencies, prime contractors, and industry players to identify and secure new opportunities.
- Build and maintain new relationships with key stakeholders to further expand business with existing clients.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing strategic partnerships, federal contract opportunities, and innovative business solutions.
- Oversee and manage the business development team to meet ambitious growth targets.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term strategies to expand Arch’s presence in federal and civilian markets.
- Own and drive the capture and proposal process for key opportunities, including building the right teaming strategies and developing winning proposals.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and key meetings with potential clients and partners.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Cultivate a growth-oriented culture, identifying opportunities for innovation and value creation across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Extensive relationships and network across federal and civilian government sectors, particularly in agencies such as HHS, DHS, USDA, NOAA, IRS, and other federal agencies. The ability to leverage these existing relationships is essential for generating new business and securing deals.
- Proven track record in business development, capture management, and revenue generation in federal contracting.
- Demonstrated ability to forge new relationships with clients and partners to secure additional work and deepen engagements.
- Strong industry relationships with key partners, systems integrators, and subcontractors in the Fed/CIV market.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to lead large growth initiatives and scale a growing company.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing a business development department.
- Understanding of government contracting vehicles, proposal development, and federal acquisition processes.
