Fractional CFO

Job Description:
We are seeking a Fractional CFO that will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our healthcare marketing platform startup. This part-time position is ideal for a highly experienced finance professional who is adept at driving financial performance, developing strategic initiatives, and ensuring robust financial controls. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and senior management team to provide financial insights and support critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury functions to ensure financial stability.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets.
• Identify and manage financial risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead the finance team, providing mentorship and development opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Proven track record as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within a high-growth or startup environment.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with financial software and tools, such as QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems.
• High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in AdTech, Digital Marketing & SAAS businesses.
• Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, or investor relations.
• Strong network within the financial and investment community.
• Familiarity with international financial regulations and practices.
