Job Description

The Chief of Staff for the South-Central Region will serve as a leader and trusted advisor to the regional president and will take the initiative to work for, support, and deliver results on behalf of the president and executive leadership team. This leader will facilitate and expedite executive decision-making and execution. They will work to proactively identify issues that could impact successful execution of the president’s priorities while integrating corporate directives with operational needs. The Chief of Staff will manage board and committee interactions and will represent the president where/when needed. They will interface with senior leadership and front-line team members, execute organizational development strategy as well as establish and manage related agendas. The Chief of Staff will act as a liaison to system functions such as marketing, clinical informatics, IS, legal support, and contract management while overseeing the administration and management of various departments and services.

  • This is an onsite role in Bloomington, Indiana with offices at Administrative Office Building. Some travel maybe required quarterly and within the region.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field is required.
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration is preferred.
  • Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires knowledge and experience in finance; operations management; strategic planning and community relations.
