OPEN JOB: Sr. Director – Manufacturing Plant Operations
LOCATION: Beaver Dam, Wisconsin (hour outside Milwaukee and Madison)
SALARY: $180,000 to $200,000
BONUS ELIGIBLE – Yes

- The Senior Director Operations is an integral business partner providing leadership to ensure order fulfillment while driving operational excellence standards for safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory.
- This role is responsible for providing direct leadership of Production, Quality and Operations Engineering functions with dotted line leadership to Supply Chain.
- This role is also responsible for ensuring execution of automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or Industrial Technology OR 8 years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 10 years of progressive management experience in a similar working environment.
- Must have led start up operation
- Must have indirectly led more than 350 people
- Must have worked in facility with $350 Million in revenue or more
- Strong coaching mentoring and people development skills.
- Strong continuous improvement, supply chain and engineered product background
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced degree MS and/or MBA
- ERP/MRP user (SAP/Oracle);
- Previous experience using SAP or equivalent ERP
- Experience in utilizing continuous improvement methodologies to improve manufacturing operations
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and direct the Operations team by selecting, coaching, and developing the team and set objectives that align with company strategy to inspire and motivate the team.
- Train, develop, motivate, monitor and lead to achieve established SMART goals and objectives to develop talent and leaders for growth within the company.
- Establish the Operations priorities to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Manage organizational talent through performance management, succession planning and development. Design and direct processes by which the team and individual performance are recognized.
- Develop and deploy strategies in order to achieve both short-term and long-term objectives.
- Ensure product, material and information streams flow and are synchronized to produce maximum efficiencies and lowest cost of operation.
- Lead, implement and promote a culture of respect, integrity and accountability.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to established practices and policies (federal, state, region and country). Surpass the National Safety Council average for Recordable Injuries and Lost Work Days when compared to companies with similar operations.
