looking for a dynamic leader to oversee our Southwest market operations. As a
Regional Director of Operations, you will play a critical role in driving
operational excellence, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service,
and achieving our business goals.
Job Summary: The Regional Director of Operations (RDO) will be
responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple Wingstop locations in the
Southwest market, which includes Texas and Lake Charles, LA. The RDO will
ensure that all restaurants operate efficiently, profitably, and in compliance
with Wingstop standards. This role requires strong leadership, strategic
planning, and exceptional interpersonal skills to lead a team of managers and
staff towards achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to restaurant managers to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Oversee the performance of multiple Wingstop sub-regions & locations, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to drive sales growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular visits to restaurants to assess performance, provide coaching, and ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to develop action plans to address any areas of improvement and track progress.
- Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and develop strategies to optimize revenue and control costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, labor laws, and company policies.
- Lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives to build a high-performing team.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Represent Wingstop in the community and build relationships with local stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Regional Director of Operations or similar role in the food service or retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety, labor management, and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and restaurant management software.
- Ability to travel frequently within the Southwest market.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Experience with franchise operations.
- Knowledge of the Southwest market, particularly Texas and Lake Charles, LA.
