Job Description:
IMA Clinical Research is seeking an experienced Clinical Research professional to join their team as a Site Manager or Director in their Las Vegas, NV site. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site clinical research activities, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines. This role involves overseeing and directly participating in the operations of clinical research activities, collaborating with leadership, and managing a team of Clinical Research Staff.
This role includes traveling to other locations as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise Clinical Research Staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and overseeing day-to-day activities, including protocol feasibility, budgets, and study participant activities.
- Manage study financials, including budget oversight, income/expense tracking, and regulatory compliance. Present management reports on clinical research site activity.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise research personnel, setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, encouraging excellence, and leading the development of SOPs and tools for Clinical Research Operations.
- Develop techniques for quality control and assurance, providing feedback to staff, working with leadership and HR on issues, and performing annual performance appraisals using agency forms and checklists.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Clinical trial, site-level experience
- 2-5 years of previous site-level management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree, RN, or Nurse Practitioner license or PA-C, preferred.
- SoCRA CCRP certification, preferred.
