We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Advertising Manager or Director to join our team and lead the advertising department. Capital Press has a strong team of top sales professionals, offering our customers a dynamic portfolio of media products.

Our advertising department needs a strong, creative leader to inspire staff and create sales campaigns. You’ll need to have the ability to follow through on details while managing the big picture. From your home base in Salem, Ore., you’ll oversee advertising sales reps, including field reps based in other states. Regular travel is required to make calls with sales reps, meet top customers and manage events.

You will be an important partner in the overall management of the business and the planning for its future.

This position also oversees two well-established agricultural shows.

At least five years of sales management experience in the media field, CRM and a solid record of successful campaigns required. Agriculture and event knowledge helpful. Background and driving checks are required. Commission based compensation plan with guaranteed monthly income plus benefits, including 401(k)/401(k)Roth, paid-time off, insurances and company car.
