** Job Description**

This is a strategic and significant role within IT and this person will be an integral member of the IT Team. As such, we are seeking a seasoned IT and competent business leader that is a dynamic, bold, hands on, innovative, and influential thought leader. The Directors primary responsibility is to provide leadership for the development, execution, support and maintenance of the Companys Restaurant Systems Technology Products and Team. This person will partner with Crewmembers at all levels of the organization to ensure the Restaurant systems are contemporary, relevant, and aligned with the Companys current objectives and future goals. This person will challenge the status quo and consistently seek opportunities to innovate, re-engineer processes and re-architect solutions to maximize security, reliability, scalability, availability, and supportability. This will be accomplished through passionate and purposeful situational leadership, inspiration, mentoring, and management of a team of IT professionals executing key initiatives through disciplined project management frameworks. Must be highly collaborative with internal IT team members, business partners, external consultants and vendors to engage them in process, business definition, orchestrate decision making and relentlessly pursue operational excellence and quality deliverables.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop and execute tactical and strategic roadmaps for all critical restaurant systems technology products through collaboration and counsel with the business teams, senior management, and IT Leadership, including both new features as well as problem management and resolution.

* Lead a growing technology team by providing inspirational situational management and professional coaching, mentorship and development of direct reports and staff members.

* Collaborate with your IT peers and business partners to assess, prioritize, allocate and focus resources to production support, service requests and initiatives to ensure a balanced delivery of services and solutions aligned with business objectives.

* Institutionalize disciplined product management methodologies within the team and department. This leader is responsible for the vision, planning, design, deployment, maintenance and overall success of the technology systems and products assigned.

* Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and maintain currency with functional capabilities of existing product portfolio in use; to ensure that company is leveraging or using the best products to meet organizational needs.

* Engage, leverage, and effectively manage vendors through building strong, collateral relationships and applying skilled negotiating skills.

* Analyze and predict trends and develop long-range plan designed to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness of restaurant systems.

* Establish team processes and procedures to ensure on-time, high quality delivery, and highly available systems.

* Directly support system administration, implementation, development, selection, monitoring and maintenance of restaurant systems as necessary.

* Develop and manage deployment mechanisms for distribution of technology to Restaurants across the nation.

* Proactively research and implement courses of action to prevent system/security problems and maintain compliance where needed.

* Prepare RFPs, analyze proposals, select services & manage information technology providers.

* Manage metrics, key performance indicators and service level agreements for driving the performance of IT service delivery.

* Communicate team and project status to supervisor and Raising Canes Leadership.

* Conduct frequent one-on-ones with direct reports to ensure goals are achieved on a timely basis; and demonstrate a collaborative team approach that supports the development and success of each team member.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* 10-15 years experience of organic growth within Information Technology with at least 5 years of demonstrated success in a senior leadership position in mid to large sized organizations

* Significant experience leveraging strong technical, analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills within Information Technology disciplines such as software engineering, design and development, package solution evaluation/selection and implementation, application integration, business process re-engineering, IT governance, technical architecture, security and disaster recovery planning

* Significant experience selecting, implementing, supporting and managing third party and custom solutions built on the Microsoft technology stack

* Significant experience managing Restaurant technology systems Demonstrated information technology architecture and design skills

* Demonstrated, hands-on leadership in the development and institutionalization of contemporary enterprise technology architectures

* Demonstrated leadership with proven ability to manage, grow and develop strong IT teams and individuals

* Exceptional project planning & management skills; experience in organizing, planning, and executing significant projects from vision through implementation leveraging structured systems development and project management methodologies

* Strong process discipline and experience in defining business requirements and the process of translating them into well engineered and integrated technical solutions and architectures

* Exceptional interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation, collaboration and negotiations to work directly with business and IT teams to establish consensus, manage conflict, shape technology strategy and drive change

* Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences; ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and promotes understanding by not over complicating

* Willingness to take a hands on approach to directing systems, process, projects and people

* Bachelors degree required, MBA a plus

* Degree in the field of computer science, information systems, computer engineering preferred

* Background in major consulting firm and/or growing corporate environments would be advantageous

* Restaurant and/or retail IT experience is required

* Project Management formal training or certification is preferred
